My father grew up in the sport of gymnastics. My brother was also put in gymnastics, so they decided to put me in gymnastics as well. I loved it right from the beginning. I have been training at Salto Gymnastics in Waukesha, Wisconsin ever since I was 9 years old. In 2012 at the level 5 state championships, I placed 1st all around, along with 1st on floor exercise and 1st on balance beam.
For the 2014 competition season I competed level 7. At states, I finished 6th in the all around, 4th on floor exercise, and 5th the vault. In 2015 competition season, I competed level 8. I ended my season finishing 3rd all around at states along with 2nd on floor exercise and 4th on uneven bars. I also qualified for the super 8 team.
The 2016 competition season was my first year of level 9 . I finished 4th at states in the all around and also qualified for the regional competition where I finished 10th all around. I continued to compete level 9 through out the 2017 competition season. At states, I placed 9th in the all around and 2nd on vault, along with qualifying to the regional competition where I placed 4th in the all around, 5th on the vault and balance beam, and tying for 4th on uneven bars. I also qualified for the level 9 western nationals in Boise, Idaho.
In 2018, as a first year level 10, I finished 1st on the uneven bars, 2nd on balance beam and vault, 4th on floor, and 1st in the all around at the Wisconsin State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, I placed 5th on the balance beam, 6th on the vault, and I finished 7th all around. I qualified to the 2018 Junior Olympic Nationals in Cincinnati, Ohio. At JO Nationals, I finished 8th on the uneven bars with a score of a 9.5, and 18th all around with a 37.275.
In the 2019 season, I had a a very successful year. At the Wisconsin state Championships, I finished 1st on bars, and 3rd all-around. I finished 1st all-around at the Region 4 Championships, as well as first on vault, bars, and floor. Qualifying to JO Nationals in Indianapolis, I finished 17th all-around with a 37.350. and 16th on bars with a 9.450
I am currently preparing for the 2020 competition season as a level 10 gymnast. I train 21 hours a week at Salto Gymnastics in Waukesha, WI under coaches Vitali Rudnitski, Juliet Holden, Kristin Kremer, and Brittany Solberg. My goal in gymnastics is to compete for a college in Division 1.
